The Guerra Junqueiro House Museum is dedicated to the life and work of the Portuguese poet, author, journalist and politician, Guerra Junqueiro (1850 - 1923). The 18th century house, with all its content, was donated in 1934 by the daughter of Guerra Junqueiro to the city of Porto
In front of the museum there is a bronze statue of the poet, made by Mestre Leopoldo d'Almeida in 1970.
