Gardens & Parks
Iveagh Gardens are popularly known as Dublin’s ‘Secret Garden’, formerly belonging to the Earls of Iveagh, and designed by Ninian Niven in 1863. They include the yew maze, the rosarium, and the fountains.
In particular, the cascade is a stunning spectacle.
In 1939 the site was given to the nation by the 2nd Earl of Iveagh.
The gardens are in the process of being restored.
