The Jan Palach Memorial

The Jan Palach Memorial, part of The National Museum and opened in 2018, is dedicated to Jan Palach, the student who protested the passivity of his countrymen following the Soviet-led invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 by self-immolation.
It is located in the house in which Jan Palach grew up and where the visitors can see a multimedia exposition.
