The Kbely Aviation Museum, part of The Military History Institute Prague, was founded in 1968 and is located at the historic military airport Prague-Kbely, the first air base built after the constitution of Czechoslovakia in 1918.
With currently a total 275 aircrafts, it is one of to the largest air museums in Europe. The exposition is closely related to the history of Czechoslovak and Czech aviation, especially its military branch.
