The Latvian Fire Fighting Museum tells the history of fire-fighting and civil protection of Latvia, from the middle of the 19th century until the present day, including telling people about actions in emergencies possible.
The visitors can admire fire-fighters' uniforms, helmets, tools, awards, manual and mechanical pumps from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, as well as "Chevrolet Six" fire vehicle.
The fire fighting developments from the 1940s until the present day are shown by fire alarms, fire fighting devices, suits, equipment and more.
