London Handel Festival

The London Handel Festival is, since 1978, an annual music festival for six weeks in March and April, dedicated to the music of Georg Frideric Handel and his contemporaries.

The festival presents concerts, talks, walks, recitals and a fully staged opera.

The Festival stages also the prestigious Handel Singing Competition which brings together the very best young singers from around the world.

In addition, the Festival is also a showcase for the London Handel Orchestra, made up of some of London's finest professional baroque players, led by Adrian Butterfield.
