Powderham Castle was built by Sir Philip Courtenay in 1325 and has remained in the family to this day. Today, having become a major tourist attraction, it is inhabited by the Earl & Countess of Devon.
The castle, with its beautiful family collections, and gardens, are open to the public.
Powderham is also a venue for Film & Photo shooting, cultural, corporate and private events such as weddings and concerts.
