Maison de Victor Hugo

Museums & Art Centres
The Maison de Victor Hugo Museum is dedicated to the life and work of the great French poet, novelist, and dramatist, Victor Hugo (1802 – 1885). It is housed in the mansion where he lived between 1832–1848, the Hôtel de Rohan-Guéménée.

The mansion dates from 1605 and was later embellished by the Rohan family.

The museum also manages Victor Hugo's former house in Guernsey, Hauteville House. See: https://www.tripendy.com/location/hauteville-house-garden-maison-victor-...
