The Museo Civico Filangieri is featuring an interesting collection of artworks, coins, and books. It is housed in Palazzo Cuomo, the former home of Gaetano Filangieri, prince of Satriano and duke of Taormina (1824–1892) , who gave the palace and its contents to his city as a museum.
