Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks, Museums & Art Centres
The Museum Château de Villevêques is a former episcopal residence of the Bishops of Angers, but houses now a large collection of works of art, bequeathed together with the house by Daniel Duclaux, to the city of Anger in 2003.
The collection includes over 900 objects, such as antique furniture, books, manuscripts, sculptures, tapestries, enamels, ceramics...
Since 2010, the Cloister, next to the Museum, is open to the public. It contains twelve columns, originating from Cloister of Elne, in the East-Pyrenees
