Parc Sama was built in 1881 by Marquis of Marianao, as his summer residence, and is up to the present day owned by his descendants. It is surrounded by ponds, fountains, caves, walkways, benches, vineyards, olive and almond trees.
It was designed by Josep Fontserè Mestres, who created Barcelona’s Parc de la Ciutadella, in association with Antoni Gaudí.
The estate is characterised by a happy fusion of styles.
Parc Sama is also a venue for cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions, weddings...
