The Universalmuseum Joanneum, founded in 1811 by Archduke Johann as the Landesmuseum Joanneum, presents a broad range of history, art, culture and nature at 13 architecturally interesting sites in Graz and Styria. Its collections contain over 4.5 million objects, and is considered the biggest of its kind in Central Europe.
