The Weir Garden is a 4 ha (10 acres) wildlife garden at the riverside of The River Wye. It belongs to the grounds of New Weir mansion. The estate was bequeathed to the National Trust by its last private owner, Roger Parr.
Roger Parr, a wealthy man, bought the estate in 1923, and had made vast improvements to the mansion and grounds.
The mansion has been converted into an elderly home.
