Eastnor Castle was built by John Cocks, 1st Earl Somers, and is still the home of his descendants today, the Hervey-Bathurst Family. Surrounded by 2000 ha (5000 acres) of parkland, the house and grounds are open to the public.
The House, with its fascinating collections, is also a venue for filming, weddings, and other private and corporate events.
The grounds include a deerpark, an arboretum and terraces descending to a 21 acre lake.
