Westport House, dating from the 1500s and seat of the Browne family (Earls of Antramont and later Marquesses of Sligo) for 300 years until 2017, is the west coast of Ireland’s number one destination for family fun.
The Historic House contains the original antique contents, such as furniture, paintings, china and silverware.
On the 180ha estate there are many other attractions such as the Pirate Adventure Park, the Westport Train Tour, the Birds of Prey Centre, the Carnival, Winterwonderland including lakes and terraces. The site overlooks Clew Bay.
