The Zeeuws Maritime MuZEEum is dedicated to the important maritime history of Zeeland. It is housed in a complex of connected buildings, one of which was once owned by the prominent ship owner Cornelis Limpsins, who employed the famous admiral Michiel de Ruyter (1607 – 1676) at the age of twelve.
