Castello di Cordovado, with at its centre the Piccolomini-Freschi Palace, dates back to the Roman times. The 16th century Palace is surrounded by an early 19th century park, with later extensions and embellishments.
Both can be visited on Saturday afternoons and Sundays during the Open Castles event (first weekend in April and October every year).
The Palace can be visited by arrangements for groups.
The site is also a venue for cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions and weddings...
