Museums & Art Centres
The Bakkehus Museum (Bakkehusmuseet) is a museum, highlighting the literature, art and culture during the Danish Golden Age (first half 19th century). The permanent exhibition is focused on the circle of the literary socialites Kamma and Knud Lyne Rahbek, who lived in the house from 1802 until 1830.
The house is surrounded by a lovely garden, where during the year there are garden walks, concerts, markets and other events.
