Bruges City Hall

Monuments & Sites, Museums & Art Centres
The Bruges' City Hall (Stadhuis Brugge), built between 1376 and 1421, is one of the oldest city halls in the Low Countries. The historic Gothic Hall is still used by the City Council, where it holds its monthly meetings.

You'll find life-size portraits of former rulers: mayors, kings, emperors, and even Napoleon, on the downstairs floors, whereas on the first floor you can admire murals from the early 20th century, presenting the history of Bruges.
