Delitzsch Castle is used as a museum, with a Baroque garden and a viewing tower. It displays prestigious interior, which has been preserved in its original state.
The castle has a long history and dates back to the 12th century. The Electors of Saxony transformed it into a Renaissance palace and from the end 17th century it was used as a residence by the House of Sachsen-Merseburg. Today it is owned by the town of Delitzsch.
