Gediminas Castle Tower, History Musem

Monuments & Sites, Museums & Art Centres
The Gediminas Castle Tower is one of the 11 branches of the National Museum of Lithuania, and is one of its 5 branches which introduce the visitors to the stages of pre-modern Lithuania’s history. The tower houses reconstruction models of the castles of Vilnius, an armament, and iconographic material of old Vilnius.

From here you can enjoy the magnificent panoramas of Vilnius.

The Gediminas Castle Tower is practically all that remains of Upper Castle, the medieval complex from the early 14th century.
