Hatchlands Park is a country estate, built for naval hero Admiral Edward Boscawen and his wife Fanny. The house, today in the hands of the National Trust, contains the Cobbe Collection, Europe’s largest collection of keyboard instruments associated with famous composers including JC Bach, Chopin and Elgar, paintings and fine furniture.

Hatchlands Park is privately inhabited by tenant Alec Cobbe.

It is surrounded by 162 ha (400 acres) rolling parkland and woodland, including a terrace, fountain, stone ornaments, a small temple.

The house is open to the public, but closed on certain days of the week. However, the Parkland is now open 363 days a year.
