The Hill of Tarvit House and gardens were remodelled between 1905 and 1906 by the architect Robert Lorrimer for the Sharp family. The House is surrounded by 16 ha (40 acres) of garden and 113 ha (279 acres) of open estate.
Today the house and estate are owned and operated by the National Trust for Scotland.
The house contains a fine collection of Chippendale-style furniture, porcelain, paintings...
The Hill of Tarvit House is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...
