Hluboka Castle, one of the former properties of the princes of Schwarzenberg and completely remodelled after Windsor Castle in the 19the century, is today a National Cultural Monument displaying a rich interior including the valuable Schwarzenberg collections.
The visitors can admire a variety of artefacts such as paintings by 16th to 18th century European masters, chandeliers, stained glass windows, Delft pottery, portraits from the most important members of the Schwarzenberg family and a library with 10,723. Also the rich collection of weapons is among the most valuable collections in the country.
Hluboka Castle in (German: Frauenberg) is surrounded by a 1.9-square-kilometre English park, constructed between 1841 and 1871.
