Lenzburg Castle is not only one of Switzerland's most beautiful and outstanding hilltop castles, but houses also a museum of life, an exhibit about knighthood and nobility, a dragon research station, a children’s museum and a history studio.
The castle has some 1000 years of history, during which it was used as a counts' residence, the seat of Bernese bailiffs and eventually the private home of wealthy American families.
