Stourhead House is a magnificent Palladian house, set in a 1,072 ha (2,650 acres) estate with lakes, classical temples, woods and farmland. It has been the creation of the Hoare family since 1717.
The house is housing a unique Regency library and a stunning collection of Chippendale furniture, paintings and other objects of art.
Since 1946 is part-owned by the National Trust.
Stourhead is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions, dinner parties, weddings...
