Tivoli Gardens opened in 1843, is a romantic urban pleasure ground in the centre of Copenhagen. The gardens include 25 rides, 28 restaurants, 110,718 outdoor lights, 134,000 tulips and narcissi, 876 trees, 6,200 m2 of water, and 20, 679 m2 of buildings.

The garden's name came from Tivoli outside Rome where the Villa d'Este is located (see Villa d'Este: https://www.tripendy.com/location/villa-deste-tivoli).
