Tower of London

Castles & Country Houses, Museums & Art Centres
The Tower of London is a historic royal castle, dating back to 1066 during the Norman Conquest, and where today you can see the Crown Jewels, the ravens, the public outside areas, Tower Green, the Armoury in the White Tower, Line of Kings, Bloody Tower, Medieval Palace, South Battlements and Torture at the Tower exhibition.

The Tower of London is cared for by The Historic Royal Palaces and officially Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London.

In spite of its sinister reputation, 'only' seven seven people were executed within the Tower before the WW II.
