The Tudor House and Garden has a fascinating history and provides us with rich insight into the lives of people in Southampton over the last 800 years. is home to a range of interesting artefacts which give us a fascinating insight into life through the ages.

These include objects as varied as a case of Victorian stuffed birds, a pair of 1920s shoes, and a medieval jewel casket.

The garden has undergone many transformations over the years, whereas in the 1980s it was re-planned by influential garden designer Dr. Sylvia Landsberg and planted to recreate how it may have been in the 1500s, with formal pathways and low hedges forming an intricate, symmetrical ‘knot’ design, interwoven with plants.

The Tudor House is also a venue for corporate and private events such as parties, launches, meetings, filming, weddings...
