The Archbishops's Palace, Olumouc, is the official seat of Olomouc bishops and archbishops, where the public can admire representative halls with rich decoration and furnishings from the Rococo, Empire, and Neo-Baroque periods.
The castle received many historic figures, including Empress Maria Theresa, tsar Alexander I, and Emperor Franz Joseph when he took over the throne.
It is also used for cultural events such as lectures and concerts.
