Milotice Castle dates back to the 14th century. Its Baroque complex from the 17th-18th century has been the residence of the Counts of Sérenyi and Seilern until 1945. The castle and beautiful grounds are open to the public.
The centre of the castle is the Hall of Ancestors, including a huge trompe-l´oeil fresco by F. Eckstein in honour of the House of Sérenyi. Also the chapel is of outstanding beauty.
