Castle Buchlovice, built in the beginning of the 18th century in Baroque style, has a beautifully furnished interior and English style gardens. The castle and gardens are open to the public.
It was commissioned by Jan Dětřich of Petřwald as a replacement for his uncomfortable residence, the nearby castle Buchlov, and became one of the most romantic buildings in the country.
In 1800 it became property of the Counts Berchtold, and since 1945 it is in the hands of the the state.
