Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks, Private Collections
Coughton Court is closely linked to the Throckmorton family since 1409. Today it is in ownership of the National Trust (since 1946), but the family holds a 300-year lease. The House, filled with family treasures, and gardens, are open to the public.
The gardens include a rose circle, an orchard with old varieties, a courtyard with a knot garden, a walk beside the River Arrow, a bog garden and a restored water meadow.
