the Galerie David d'Angers, opened on 1984, is dedicated to the works of the sculptor David d'Angers (1788 –1856). His real name was Pierre-Jean David. The museum is located in the former Abaye Toussaint, dating back to 1040.
The museum displays an almost complete collection of his works either in the form of copies or in the original moulds.
