The Gründerzeitmuseum in Mahlsdorf is housing the collection brought together by Charlotte von Mahlsdorf (1928–2002), focusing on the "Founder Epoch" from the 19th century. Charlotte von Mahlsdorf had opened her museum in 1960 in this manor house.
However, in 1997 she moved to Sweden with a large part of her collection, but fortunately her collection was returned to Berlin after her death.
The manor house is surrounded by a park, which has been restored to the state it was in at the end of the 19th century.
