Wakehurst Place Garden belongs to the National Trust and is managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens. It includes more than 500 acres of ornamental gardens, woodlands and a nature reserve. 

The Elizabethan mansion stands majestically in the grounds, which are also home to the Millennium Seed Bank, the largest wild seed conservation project in the world.
