Castle Arstetten, housing the Archduke Franz Ferdinand Museum, is still in the family of the descendants from the Archduke and his wife, the Duchess of Hohenberg, who were were assassinated in 1914 in Sarajevo.
Here they found their resting place.
In 1977, after the death of Duke Franz of Hohenberg, the property was bequeathed to his daughter Anita, who set up the Anita Hohenberg Trust. Today, the property is managed by her and her family.
