Riegersburg Castle

Riegersburg Castle dates from 1122 and was acquired by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein in 1822. Since 2009 the Riegersburg is in the hands of Dr. Prince Emanuel von und zu Liechtenstein and his family. The castle serves as a museum including the castle museum, the witch museum, and the weapons museum.

The site is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...The castle has always been a great place to celebrate. An engraving in a window pane of the knight's hall from 1635 attests to the debauchery of days long past.
