Appian Way Regional Park is a protected archeological important area of around 3400 hectares. Some of the archeological and historic items are the Appian Way, the Villa of the Quintili, the Park of the Caffarella, the Aquaduct Park, the Tombs of Via Latina...

The park was created in 1988, but is not a real National Park, in the sense that 95% remains in private hands.
