Seiferdorf Valley (288 ha) was created from 1781 mainly by Countess Christina (Tina) von Brühl. She resided with her husband Count Moritz Graf von Brühl at castle Seifersdorf.
It was one of the earliest gardens of its kind in Germany and has been very popular at that time until mid 19th century. It has been visited by many historical figures and artists.
The last decades serious restorations have taken undertaken and are still ongoing.
